Total Marine Solutions has achieved Foreign-Trade Zone No. 25 designation. Broward County Government, as the grantee of Foreign Trade Zone 25 since 1976 as awarded by the United States Foreign-Trade Zones Board, is authorized to execute Zone User Agreements, providing a streamlined path through Port Everglades leadership for small size but significant companies, such as Total Marine Solutions, to take advantage of the major financial, cash-flow, and logistics advantages.
TMS imports equipment, solutions, and spare parts in support of client operations. These items are installed aboard client vessels to support environmental compliance operations. The FTZ designation offers TMS a stronger competitive advantage, allowing TMS to defer or eliminate duties on these imports and streamline logistics operations.
