TMS Founder and CEO, Alexandra Anagnostis-Irons, was recognized as the 2025 Golden Compass Honoree at the Seafarers’​ House at Port Everglades International Golden Compass Gala at the Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, September 27th. The event also celebrated the 25th anniversary of Total Marine Solutions, which was founded in September 2000.
Nearly 500 people attended the sold-out event, which is held annually in support of Seafarers’ House.  Alex, a long time supporter of seafarers, serves on the executive committee of Seafarers’ House and has served on the board for more than ten years. TMS clients, colleagues, and stakeholders from the international maritime community attended the event, which raised more than $450,000 for Seafarers’ House. 
At the beginning of the evening, Alex was presented with a proclamation from Broward County Commissioners proclaiming September 27, 2025 as Alexandra Anagnostis-Irons Day in Broward County. During her acceptance speech, Alex thanked the TMS team, her family and friends, and her founding partners at MarinFloc for their ongoing support and commitment to Total Marine Solutions. Nine members of the MarinFloc team flew from Sweden to attended the event. TMS long-term solution partners, such as NAVTOR, Jets Group, and ORCA sponsored the event. TMS’ technical partner in Australia, InterMarine, sent a congratulatory video, which was played at the event.
